Robert Small, A Hero

We must call EVIL by its name when we see it, unabashed and unafraid; for all it takes for EVIL to triumph is for good men to do nothing. Not to act is to act, not to speak is to speak. Robert Small spoke up to protect our children. As a result, he was manhandled by the neo-fascist police state of The People’s Republic of Maryland, handcuffed and slammed into a wall; so hard it can be heard on the videotape. Today, because he had the courage to dissent to what amounts to an attack on our children’s minds and souls, refusing to be a government lemming, he has been brought up on assault charges, carrying a penalty of a decade in prison and a $2,500 fine. Additionally, he faces another $2,500 fine for disrupting a school-sponsored event; all for exercising his God given rights secured by the Constitution. I would expect this in North Korea or Hitler’s Germany, but not in this country; just goes to show that Common Core is so EVIL that they will destroy anyone who disagrees with it. This man must be held up as a hero and we must stand, arm and arm, with him; lest we continue down this road. May God have mercy on the soul this nation.

Remembering Memorial Day

Tomorrow, we celebrate Memorial Day; a day many simply relegate to simply consisting of BBQ, beer, a day off and the unofficial start of summer. Many may even wish you a “Happy” Memorial Day. Furthermore, others may use the day to thank a current soldier or a vet. While that is a better alternative than forgetting the day altogether, one should take care not to confuse this day with Veterans Day in November.

Through the years, this day had been bastardized by sheer ignorance and I would not doubt that many do not even know the real meaning of what we commemorate.

As a Christian, Easter is considered the most important day of the liturgical year. As an American, I contend that Memorial Day is. Just as our salvation was bought and paid in full by Jesus’ sacrifice and blood; our freedom, too, was made possible by the blood of those patriots.

As we get together with family and take part in our BBQs and pool party’s, lets remember why we are free to do so. Ronald Reagan said it best when he said, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same.”  Let’s not forget the memories of those who laid down their life for us or their sacrifice, in the end, will be meaningless and they would have died in vain.

Open Letter to America

My fellow Americans,
Today we find ourselves again at a great American crossroad. Our government continues to spend and barrow irresponsibly burdening our children and grandchildren with debt society can never pay off; The Fed has begun monetizing our currency causing disastrous inflation; global conflict is heating up and revolution is on the horizon. All while the Washington bureaucrats ignore reality and instead choose to play political games at the perils of the American people; creating legislation and regulation with the only purpose of micromanaging every aspect of our lives; from what we eat to how, when, and who we worship, to what healthcare we can receive. The bureaucrats are even involved in picking winners and losers and regulating dust.

America has elected a president who does not recognize American Exceptionalism; who believes the Constitution is a failed document and has vowed to Fundamentally Transform this country. A country founded on the words in the Declaration of Independence, words that came at great costs. “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” Obama has refused to recognize our rights come from God and instead believes they are granted by the government.

At this, the words of a great American, Gerald Ford, comes to mind. President Ford once said, “A government big enough to give you everything you want is a government big enough to take from you everything you have. The document Obama calls a charter of negative liberties does not grant us freedom; it only recognizes it. Today, these freedoms are under great threat. Our government, whose only real legitimate purpose is to uphold our liberty, has, instead, begun stripping it away.

This message has nothing to do with the election, congress or, politics at all for that matter but rather man’s freedom and its preservation. It’s not about democrat or republican but rather Americans. We are the ones that are there to help our neighbors in need, the ones that work hard tirelessly until the job is done, that makes the necessary sacrifices when duty calls. America is great because America is good. We are still those people, the same people we’ve always been, through the good and the bad. Hope still exists as does good ole American ingenuity. The American Experiment works. It has always worked. It has worked for the last 200 and some years and will continue to work if it’s given a chance. It has never failed us, but we may just fail it. We must be willing to set out on a new course, today, to return to our American principles of maximum freedom and minimum government.

Ronald Reagan: president, actor, patriot once stated “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same.” That, ladies and gentleman, is the reason we are alive at this quintessential time in history, when man’s freedom is at the brink of extinction. It is no coincidence and it may even be in part due to Devine providence. We have, undeniably, been tasked with the great duty and responsibility to first awaken ourselves to the truths and than awaken our neighbors, friends, and family. Then, we must stand strong, question with boldness, and look adversity in the eye and proclaim, “We still Hold these truths” and man’s freedom will prevail. We must make the sacrifices today so the children of tomorrow can be free. Failure is not an option.

Less than 5% of people in modern civilization have ever lived with the freedom comparable to America and once freedom is gone, it doesn’t come back. When we lose freedom in America, there will be nowhere else to run. The flame of liberty will be extinguished forever. We shall not let down our fathers and forefathers. The men who sacrificed it all: from our founders who forged the American republic to the heroes who shed their blood: from Bunker Hill to Gettysburg, the beaches of Normandy to the mountains of Afghanistan. They shall not have died in vain. These are the best of times as much as these are the worst of times. We must be optimistic but we must also take responsibility for our liberty. In the end, freedom must be restored. It’s now or never.

On My Honor

In light of the recent news out of the BSA, I am deeply saddened and disappointed with the new membership standards. Not only is it silly and inconsistent, it is both abhorrent and repugnant. In the time I spent in scouting, I was always taught that a scout was brave; not afraid to do the right thing rather than the popular thing. We did our duty to God, not political correctness. Emphasizing being morally straight, the scouting program was about sharpening one’s outdoor skills and building character instead of conducting social experiments and bowing down to liberal utopists.

The vote had nothing to do with equal rights; we all know that much. Individuals already have the right to start their own organization with their own membership requirements. It is unequivocally and undeniably about destroying anything and everything that is good and decent. For over a hundred years, the BSA has taught young men to be self dependent, upstanding citizens. Just like the Liberal Secularists have destroyed the military, they have sought to destroy another quintessential American institution, the Boy Scouts of America, and in due time (mark your calendars) , they will be successful.

In Canada, when homosexual scouts were permitted to join in 1998, membership declined by over 50%. This will likely become a reality in the US. The BSA already is calculating a 330,000 net loss. Recently, a BSA sex scandal was revealed and involved nearly 2,000 counts of homosexual child abuse. This will become the new norm with a Heritage Foundation study projecting new trends of rampant “boy on boy” contact during camping trips.

Although I am proud of my scouting experience and I hoped it would be around for my children and grandchildren to enjoy, it becomes clear that this is not the same organization it used to be; another organization destroyed; surrendering to the homofascist agenda. Unfortunately, I didn’t leave the boy scouts, this time the boy scouts left me. In the end, the BSA decided to sell out every single value it ever held as well as the scouts of the past, present, and future, all for the almighty dollar.
